Christian Mbilli

Christian “Solide” Mbilli is an unbeaten French-Cameroonian professional boxer and the WBC super-middleweight world champion. Born in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Mbilli moved to France as a child and developed into an accomplished amateur boxer. Representing France internationally, he competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, reaching the middleweight quarter-finals before losing to eventual Olympic champion Arlen López. Mbilli turned professional in 2017 and quickly established himself as an aggressive, physically powerful fighter. His early career produced a long sequence of stoppage victories as he progressed from prospect to contender. After moving firmly into the super-middleweight division, Mbilli captured the WBC Continental Americas championship by defeating Ronny Landaeta in September 2021.
