Daniel Dubois

Daniel Dubois is a British heavyweight boxer and former IBF heavyweight world champion. Known as “Dynamite”, Dubois turned professional in 2017 and quickly became one of Britain's leading heavyweight prospects through a series of knockout victories. Dubois captured British and Commonwealth honours as he rose through the division before suffering his first professional defeat against Joe Joyce in November 2020. He rebuilt his career with a series of stoppage victories and went on to defeat Trevor Bryan for the WBA Regular heavyweight title in 2022. His first world-title meeting with Oleksandr Usyk came in Poland in August 2023, with Usyk winning by ninth-round stoppage. Dubois subsequently rebuilt again with significant victories over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgović. In September 2024, Dubois produced one of the biggest victories of his career against Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium. Dubois dropped Joshua several times before securing a fifth-round knockout in front of a huge Wembley crowd. Dubois later faced Usyk for a second time in a heavyweight unification fight at Wembley in July 2025 and lost by fifth-round knockout. He has since continued competing among the leading names in the heavyweight division.
