Johnny George Charles Fisher

Johnny George Charles Fisher, known in the ring as “The Romford Bull,” is a British heavyweight who has emerged as a notable presence on domestic and international cards since turning professional in 2021. An orthodox fighter from Harold Wood and raised in Romford, London, Fisher stands 193 cm tall and built his reputation through a high-finishing rate — 12 of his 14 wins have come by stoppage — compiling a professional record of 14–1 (12 KOs). Fisher began his pro career in early 2021, announcing himself with a series of first- and early-round stoppages on Matchroom undercards and other prominent British shows. He registered a first-round TKO of Matt Gordon at Wembley Arena in February 2021 and followed with stoppage wins that year over Phil Williams, Danny Whitaker and Alvaro Terrero, the latter on the Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius undercard at The O2. In February 2022 he went the distance for the first time, taking a six-round points decision over Gabriel Enguema at Alexandra Palace, a step that demonstrated he could handle rounds as well as flash knockouts. Across 2022 and into 2023 Fisher continued to step up the rounds and opposition, ending 2022 with TKO wins over Michal Reissinger and Dominik Musil and moving to eight-round assignments in 2023 with victories including a fourth-round TKO of Alfonso Damiani in Liverpool. The biggest domestic milestone of his early career came on August 12, 2023, when he captured the vacant BBBofC Southern Area Heavyweight title with a seventh-round TKO of Harry Armstrong on an O2 Arena undercard — his first named regional title. In 2024 Fisher broadened his resume with a victory in the United States, stopping Dmytro Bezus in the first round at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in February, and then delivered a high-profile first-round TKO of former contender Alen Babić in July at the Copper Box Arena. Those wins set up a step into the international title picture: on December 21, 2024, Fisher won a split decision over David Allen on the Usyk vs Fury II undercard in Riyadh to claim the vacant WBA Inter-Continental Heavyweight title. Fisher’s hold on that belt proved short-lived. He faced Allen in a rematch headlining the Copper Box Arena on May 17, 2025, and lost the WBA Inter-Continental title by fifth-round TKO. He remained active thereafter, returning on December 6, 2025, to stop Ivan Baláž via fourth-round TKO in Monte Carlo. An active fighter with a growing ledger of headline and undercard performances at major venues across the UK, Saudi Arabia and Monaco, Fisher remains a former WBA Inter-Continental titleholder. As of his last recorded bout he is not the current WBA Inter-Continental champion and holds a professional record of 14–1 with 12 stoppage wins.
