Lenier Peró

Lenier Peró, nicknamed "El Justiciero," is a Cuban southpaw heavyweight who has built his professional résumé around power, a long 201 cm reach and a string of regional title fights. Born in Camagüey, Cuba on 1992-11-24 and based in Miami, Florida, Peró began his pro career in Europe in 2019 and established himself as a contender in the WBA regional scene over the following years. Peró made his professional debut in Germany in May 2019 and followed an active opening year with a mix of early-round stoppages and decision wins. After initial wins over Maksym Pedyura (TKO) and two decision victories in Germany, he moved into the regional-title ranks late in 2020. On 2020-12-11 Peró captured the vacant WBA Fedelatin heavyweight title with a second-round knockout of Jorge Alejandro Arias in Buenos Aires, the first of several WBA regional engagements that would define his early career. Over the next three years Peró defended that regional crown multiple times and recorded a number of highlight stoppages. He scored a first-round KO/TKO defense against Dumar Carrascal in June 2021, and in May 2022 stopped Hector Perez by third-round TKO while defending the Fedelatin belt. One of his most notable victories came in February 2023 on a major televised card when Peró stopped Viktor Vykhryst with body shots in the eighth round on the Vargas vs Foster undercard, retaining WBA regional honours in a performance that raised his profile on U.S. television. Peró continued fighting primarily in Florida and on U.S. undercards, compiling stoppage wins over opponents such as Joel Caudle, Guillermo Ruben Andino and Donnie Palmer while also notching decision victories on points. In April 2025 he recorded a unanimous decision win at the Caribe Royale Orlando card, and on 2025-11-01 he successfully defended a WBA Continental Americas (WBA regional) heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over Jordan Thompson. Across 14 documented professional fights through 2026-04-25, Peró compiled a 13–1 record with eight KO/TKO victories. His first professional loss came on 2026-04-25, when Jarrell Miller defeated him by 12-round unanimous decision at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. As of that bout Peró remains an active heavyweight who has held WBA regional belts (WBA Fedelatin / WBA Continental Americas at various times) but is not a WBA world champion. He continues to be a southpaw presence in the heavyweight division, fighting out of Miami with a noted reach advantage and a record that combines stoppage power with regular defenses of regional honours.
