Tenshin Nasukawa

Tenshin Nasukawa is a Japanese southpaw competing at bantamweight who has built a notable professional résumé since beginning his pro career in 2023. Listed at 165 cm with a 176 cm reach, Nasukawa combines conventional boxing fundamentals with the competitive experience he brought from a high-profile combat sports background. His professional record stands at 8–1–0 (3 KOs). Nasukawa’s early pro bouts were staged in Japan on major streaming undercards and regional shows. He logged unanimous-decision victories over Yuki Yonaha (April 8, 2023) and Luis Guzman (September 18, 2023), each contest worked in the junior-feather/catchweight area as he established himself at lower weights and adjusted to the professional ranks. He registered his first stoppage in January 2024 when Luis Robles Pacheco retired on his stool after three rounds (RTD, January 23, 2024), and followed that with a third-round TKO of Jonathan Rodriguez on July 20, 2024. A career milestone arrived on October 14, 2024, when Nasukawa stepped up at bantamweight to fight Gerwin Asilo for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight title. On November 24, 2025, Nasukawa challenged for the vacant WBC bantamweight world title against Takuma Inoue in the Tokyo main event. The bout went the distance and Nasukawa suffered his first professional defeat, losing by unanimous decision in a scheduled 12-round world-title fight. Nasukawa returned to the ring in April 2026 in a WBC eliminator against former multi-division titlist Juan Francisco Estrada. He scored a ninth-round retirement (RTD) to claim the eliminator and reassert his place among the division’s contenders.
