Teófimo Andrés López Rivera is an American professional boxer whose combination of power, ringcraft and high‑profile wins has placed him among the most talked‑about fighters across multiple weight divisions. Fighting out of Las Vegas and nicknamed "The Takeover," López is an orthodox welterweight and the current WBA (Super) welterweight world champion after his majority‑decision victory over Rolando "Rolly" Romero on August 22, 2026.
