Viddal Riley

Viddal “The Rilest” Riley is an undefeated British professional boxer and British and European cruiserweight champion. Born in Hackney and raised in Tottenham, London, Riley began boxing at age six and built an accomplished amateur career before turning professional. As an amateur, Riley compiled a 41–8 record, won multiple national championships and represented Great Britain at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. He also won silver at the 2013 European Junior Championships. Riley made his professional debut in November 2018 and won his opening two contests by first-round knockout. After spending part of the early stages of his professional career fighting in the United States and Dubai, he returned to Britain and began climbing the domestic cruiserweight rankings. In September 2023, Riley defeated the previously unbeaten Nathan Quarless by unanimous decision to capture the vacant English cruiserweight championship. He followed that by defeating Mikael Lawal over ten rounds in March 2024. Riley stepped up another level on 26 April 2025 when he faced Cheavon Clarke for the British cruiserweight championship at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Riley won by unanimous decision over 12 rounds to become British champion. On 4 April 2026, Riley challenged experienced Polish fighter Mateusz Masternak for the European cruiserweight championship at London's O2 Arena. Riley controlled the contest and won by scores of 118–110, 118–110 and 119–109, extending his undefeated professional record to 14–0 and becoming European champion.
